Ascenthya is a financial services practice for families and businesses, built to a standard higher than anyone requires of it, and lowered for no one.

Our purpose
People come to Ascenthya for decisions they will live inside for a long time. We must never lose what makes us worth coming to, or let it become something we describe rather than something we do.
The Ascenthya Principles
The Unwatched Hour
We hold ourselves to more than anyone asks of us. What Ascenthya is shows in the hours nobody is watching, and that is a matter of people rather than paper. We would rather be judged on the people here than on anything we have written down.
Plain Sight
We tell people what we actually see. It is slower than telling them what they hoped for, and it is the only version anyone stays with for long, which is why it runs in every direction here including toward ourselves. People are owed the real picture and the freedom to decide with it.
We Stay
We stay. Plans drift, habits slip and standards soften, and what decides the outcome is usually whether someone was still near enough to notice. Attention is the work rather than what comes after it. Most of the work happens when nothing is happening.
Made, Not Found
Capability is built at Ascenthya, not discovered. We do not put a clock on people and we do not move the standard, which is a harder combination than either on its own. It is also the one that makes people, and that is the part of this work we like most.
Time Is the Test
We call nothing a success until it has survived a few years of an actual life. Anything measured sooner is measuring the wrong thing. We hold what we put in front of other people, which leaves us in the same weather as everyone we advise.
Measured Upward
We take our standard from wherever it is highest, not from the people beside us. That means studying how much larger institutions do things and holding ourselves to it long before anyone expects it of us. Some of it has had to be built here because nothing at our size existed. We would rather reach for it early than grow into it later.
